Every parent wants to invest in a
good education for their children. The decision-making process, however, is not
as simple as determining which institution will provide the best opportunities
for their child, while keeping the child safe and secure.
Faculty Qualification. Because teachers will technically spend more
time with them on a daily basis than you will, it’s very important that you
make sure your children are surrounded by people who can be good influences on
them. Private school institutions are very
strict when it comes to the credentials of instructors, making sure that they
are well qualified.
Better Teacher-to-Student Ratio. A packed classroom minimizes the
opportunity for a lot of students to get the guidance, personal attention and
support that they should have from their teacher. In a private school setting,
the student-to-teacher ratio is usually very small, which enables each child to
get individual attention from the teacher.
Advanced Placements/ International Baccalaureate programs. The
quality of the school will always be reflected by the kind of academic programs
it has. Private schools are more likely to offer specialized programs for their
students, providing them a more focused academic track. This means having
advanced placement and International Baccalaureate programs.
